DON'T do this, that steering arm is cast iron, that welding won't hold, this a danger to the driver and people around him. If you have the money to decorate your truck I'm sure you could buy a new part .

In the west labor is more expensive than the truck parts. In that part of the world (Asia,Africa etc) parts are more expensive than labor. So yes where labor is cheap and experienced yes it's worth it. In the west it's cheaper in time saved to throw away old stuff and just make it new.
